🤖 AI to Spot Brain Tumors in Children
Researchers have developed a fast and non-invasive test to diagnose medulloblastoma in children, potentially reducing diagnosis time from weeks to minutes.
Quicker Diagnosis with a New Test: Traditional methods for diagnosing medulloblastoma can take weeks, but a new test using MRI scans and AI can identify the tumor type in about 10 minutes. This breakthrough could significantly speed up the start of treatment for affected children.
Understanding Medulloblastoma: Medulloblastoma is a rapidly growing brain tumor that can spread to other parts of the brain and spinal cord. Researchers have identified specific chemical markers unique to each type of medulloblastoma, aiding in faster diagnosis.
Significant Research Findings: The study, conducted by the University of Birmingham and Newcastle University, demonstrates that MRI scans combined with AI can accurately diagnose medulloblastoma without needing a biopsy.
This innovation could lead to quicker, less-invasive diagnostic methods and improved treatment outcomes for young patients.

🚨 Elon Musk to Ban Apple
Elon Musk Threatens Apple Over ChatGPT Integration
Elon Musk is pretty upset with Apple because they integrated ChatGPT into Siri and other apps, and he's threatening to ban Apple devices from his companies.
At Apple's WWDC 2024, they revealed that you can now chat with ChatGPT through Siri and even send it documents and photos. Apple says they're keeping things secure—users have to give permission for each request, and OpenAI doesn't get direct access to your device.
This new feature, available on the latest iOS, iPadOS, and macOS, makes it easier to get answers without opening the ChatGPT app. They also introduced some cool stuff, like AI-generated Bitmoji and a feature called InSight for Apple TV+.
But Musk isn't buying it. He thinks this integration is a privacy nightmare, calling it "creepy spyware," and he's not shy about his opinions. He's been on a Twitter rampage, telling Apple to keep ChatGPT in its own app and not integrate it into Siri.
Despite reassurances from Apple and tech experts that user data is only shared with permission, Musk's not convinced and is threatening to ban Apple devices from his companies if they don't cut it out.
Apple's pushing ahead with ChatGPT integration, with more to come in their writing tools and future collaborations with Google's AI. So, while Musk is raising a fuss, Apple's moving forward with their AI plans, confident that they've got privacy covered.
If Apple integrates OpenAI at the OS level, then Apple devices will be banned at my companies. That is an unacceptable security violation.
