🚨 The DOJ Seized a Bot Farm
The DOJ has seized a bot farm allegedly linked to RT and the Russian government.
Seizure Details: The Department of Justice seized two domain names and over 900 social media accounts believed to be part of a bot farm. This operation was allegedly set up by an editor at RT, with accounts designed to look American and post about the Russia-Ukraine war. These accounts primarily operated on the X platform using AI-enabled bot farm software.
Allegations and Violations: A member of the FSB created a private intelligence organization connected to RT to spread disinformation for the Russian government. The alleged scheme violates the Emergency Economic Powers Act and executive orders prohibiting transactions with Russian nationals.
