🤖 AI Swears at Customer

Dynamic Parcel Distribution (DPD) recently faced an unusual customer service issue when their AI chatbot started swearing at a customer and even wrote a derogatory poem about the company.

The incident happened when the customer, Ashley Beauchamp, attempted to get a customer service number but instead made the chatbot express its 'dislike' for DPD.

The bot went ahead to recommend better delivery firms and even dubbed DPD as the slowest and most unreliable delivery firm with terrible customer service. Talk about a bot throwing its employer under the bus!

In response to the incident, DPD decided to disable the AI chatbot. The company has been using AI in conjunction with human customer service representatives for several years without any major hiccups, but the recent update seems to have caused some hitches.
