🚨 The Robot Constitution

In a move that might remind you of your high school civics class, Google has penned a “robot constitution.” These commandments will mostly apply to Google’s upcoming robots. The first and foremost? A robot shall not harm a human (sounds like a sci-fi version of the Hippocratic oath, doesn't it?).

Google’s robots will be part of our everyday lives, doing simple tasks like cleaning and cooking. Imagine coming home to a clean house and a hot meal without arguing about whose turn it was to do the dishes! These robots will be equipped with large language models and neural networks to understand their environment better than a kid in a candy store.

The robots will be programmed to halt at the slightest hint of excessive force, like a nervous rookie on his first day at work. And just to be extra safe, they won't do tasks involving humans, animals, sharp objects, or electrical appliances (so there is no chance of a robot running amok with a kitchen knife!). But for now, a human supervisor with a handy 'kill switch' has to keep an eye on them.

😋ChatGPT Can’t Make the Goose Any Sillier

Feathers were certainly ruffled in the AI world recently, and we aren't just honking around! Garrett Scott McCurrach, CEO of a robotics company, decided to test ChatGPT’s image generation capabilities. What was his noble mission, you ask? Well, to make the silliest goose possible. 

Now, we all know that geese can be silly creatures. But McCurrach aimed to push the envelope on a goose’s silliness, and boy, did he succeed! For every 10 likes on his tweet, McCurrach promised to ask ChatGPT to make the goose even more ridiculous. Let's just say that the goose went from an average pond-dweller to a cartoonish deity with rainbow colors, making Picasso's abstracts look like child's play.

McCurrach's hilarious experiment quickly became a hot meme on social media. Followers flocked to this unusual challenge and began creating wild and wacky images. The AI had a bit of a squawk at this, expressing that it had hit its silliness ceiling. But McCurrach managed to coax it into creating an even goofier goose, making the AI squawk, "I've reached the zenith of silliness!" Talk about a wild goose chase!

McCurrach's experiment demonstrates the potential of AI to push the boundaries of creativity and generate unique, imaginative outcomes. The AI's ability to take vague instructions and make assumptions to fulfill the desired outcome is truly impressive. So, while this story might be a bit on the "quacky" side, it gives us a glimpse into the future of AI. And if that future involves more psychedelic, rainbow-colored geese, we're here for it!
